Jeff Bezos is the world’s richest person by far standing at nearly $200 billion. And given that he was the founder of Amazon, this is really not surprising. However, despite his innovative genius in the e-commerce space, Jeff Bezos has received a lot of criticism regarding labor exploitation within Amazon, Amazon not paying any federal income tax, and Jeff Bezos just overall being a greedy individual. Moreover, considering that Amazon controls 49% of all e-commerce sales within the US, it does seem like Amazon is a monopoly.
